Job description

VCG is looking for a senior application analyst for Cerner Scheduling, Registration, HIM to support sustainment efforts on Cerner Millennium 2012.1.18 and 2005 code levels. This position would be responsible for supporting efforts related to design, build, implementation, training, evaluation, testing, maintenance and support of support of Cerner Millennium Win32 Scheduling applications. Establishes and maintains relationships at the appropriate level between Hospital and Clients, in order to provide appropriate escalation of issues and solution benefits.

Senior Cerner Application support of the Cerner Millennium 2012.1.18 and Cerner Millennium 2005 with an emphasis on System Support and Issue triage where needed including;


General Project Scope:

* Understand current design and implications to process and workflow

* Excellent Communicator to CST Sustainment Leadership

* Troubleshooting and Triage as required for end user issues relating to the supported systems

* Work closely with technical and application analysts to coordinate and resolve

cross-departmental issues

* When required complete Evaluation, analysis, documentation of requirements, and

translation into proper system requirement specifications with module experts

* requests for Data extracts - Lead and task as required

* Operational Support for the current functionality for:

o HNAUSER - Support provisioning team as required

  1. Troubleshooting

o Scheduling/Appointment Reminders

  1. Build/Update Templates
  2. Build/Update Resources
  3. Build/Update Appointment Types

o Report Distribution

  1. Daily Audits and Monitoring of failed distributions
  2. Troubleshooting and Remediation assistance

o PM Office

  1. EMPI testing for MoH changes to active integration interfaces
  2. Troubleshooting/Coordinating with Tech Team interface issues
  3. Coordinating with Biztalk team testing requirements

o Ops Jobs - Troubleshooting, Monitoring, Skipping, etc.

o Unsigned Transcribed Documents - workflow and audits for leadership

  1. Monthly extracts
  2. Meetings with IMITS and Transcription Services

o Unsigned PowerNotes Document - workflow and audits for leadership

* Provide support for testing and conversion activities including but not limited to:

  4. Unit, Regression, Integration, and User Acceptance testing as needed
  5. Win10 Upgrade Testing
  6. Citrix Receiver Upgrade Testing
  7. Documentation updates
  8. CST analyst education as required
  9. 'Scheduled Downtime' validations and Support: ie. DST, Citrix downtimes, Biztalk upgrades/security patching
