Responsibilities
The Cash Applications Team Lead is responsible for leading day-to-day cash posting operations and ensuring accurate, timely application of payments and adjustments. This role serves as a subject matter expert in cash application workflows and provides leadership, training, and quality oversight for the Cash Applications team. Extensive experience using Epic Systems is required. Handles confidential information; Maintains HIPAA privacy standards regarding patient account information. Performs all work in accordance to the mission, vision and values of Oklahoma Heart Hospital.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cash applications, payment posting, or revenue cycle operations
  • Epic experience required (cash posting, lockbox, EFT/ERA workflows)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior lead, senior, or supervisory experience
  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare revenue cycle environment
  • Experience working with bank lockbox vendors and correspondence posting
  • Strong understanding of revenue cycle cash application processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Epic cash posting workflows
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
