Cash Application Specialist
The Cash Application Specialist will perform a variety of account receivable tasks under the supervision of the AR Manager & Controller. This is an in-person role.
The hourly range for this position is $17.00-$25.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities
  • Record and apply cash receipts daily in Accounting System related to lockbox payments, and EFTs up to 500 cash receipts a day.
  • Process and apply physical checks and credit card payments.
  • Research transactions related to credit card processing, EFTs, and lockbox transactions as needed.
  • Daily reconciliation of all payment applications.
  • Be comfortable learning and working in multiple accounting systems.
  • Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of solving problems and frequent communication with branches.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to branch teams and external customers
  • Assist branches with payment inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Other A/R duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
  • 2 or more years' experience as a Cash Applications
  • Understanding of basic accounting and accounts receivable principles
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Combination of strong attention to detail, problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Willing to pass a post-offer drug screen, background, and reference check
