Responsibilities

  • Prep and apply spray in bedliners to vehicles, following proper procedures
  • Prep and spray aftermarket parts
  • Service and maintain shop equipment
  • Utilize protective supplies as appropriate to ensure cleanliness of vehicle.
  • Operate lifting and moving devices to move materials and equipment and access areas.
  • Responsible for cleaning, sanding, and applying chemical solutions to prepare and condition surfaces prior to painting.
  • Mask and cover surfaces not to be painted; removing accessories such as chrome, mirrors and windshield wipers.
  • Mix and thin paint or other coating to specified color and consistency according to standard formulas or color charts.
  • Spray specified amount or thickness of primer, protective, decorative, or finish coatings, such as paint, lacquer, sealer, or enamel, onto prepared surfaces.

Qualifications

  • Education and/or experience in paint repair
  • A high school diploma or the equivalent
  • Understanding and compliance with safety rules and practices as well as posted work rules and procedures
  • Positive outlook with a high-energy personality
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and critical thinking
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving record
