Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Maintenance / Lube & Tire Technician. The Automotive Maintenance / Lube & Tire Technician performs car and truck service & repair, preventive maintenance and used car certifications according to company policy and procedures. This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. The Automotive Maintenance / Lube & Tire Technician is responsible to support the needs of our customers in accordance with our safety and quality standards.
  • Full-Time Position with overtime availability
  • $20.00 starting salary
    • $2.00 / hour weekday pay differential (after 11:00 am)
    • $4.00 / hour weekend pay differential
    • Additional pay for VSI License and ASE Certifications

We are currently looking for an Automotive Maintenance / Lube & Tire Technician that can work the following schedule:
Monday through Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
This position is located at the Norfolk Used Car Certification Center (21V3), 7436 N. Military Highway, Norfolk VA 23518
Responsibilities
We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:
  • Perform used car certification inspections according to company standards.
  • Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels
  • Perform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines
  • Repair and replace tires
  • Replace wearable parts (i.e. bulbs, wipers)
  • Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a repair order (RO) to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair
  • Comply with part procurement and inventory management procedures
  • Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all services
  • May process new fleet, fuel reclamation or buy backs
  • Follow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety and environmental standards
  • Maintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standards
  • Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
  • Comply with all Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 convicted moving violations in the last 3 years (Total points on driving record cannot exceed 8 points)
  • No drug or alcohol related incidents in the last 3 years (DUI/DWI)
  • Must have 2 years experience handling automotive mechanical service procedures in a work-center atmosphere in the last 3 years
  • Must pass background check/MVR and drug test
  • ASE Certification preferred or ability to obtain
