JOB TITLE: Sheeter Apprentice
LOCATION: On-Site - Clarksville, TN
SHIFT: Must be open to work 1st or 2nd Shift

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:
The Sheeter Apprentice assists the Sheeter Operator in the set-up, running and basic maintenance of the sheeter. The incumbent is responsible for learning all aspects of Sheeting operations while following department quality and productivity standards. The Apprentice should reach a high level of knowledge and skills and be able to fill in as the operator on an as needed basis. In addition to this, the Sheeter Apprentice will perform the duties to support the operator as outlined below. Supports department goals and promotes Safety and a healthy work environment.
YOU HAVE:
  • A working knowledge of all equipment, machinery, procedures, processes and paperwork within the department, or ability to learn.
  • Paper sheeting operator experiences preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated decision making ability.
  • Mechanical ability and provide maintenance support for department machines.
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure within 1/32 of an inch.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be team minded and positive in all interactions with the employees at every level.
  • Mental/Visual Demands- Continuous mental and visual attention, requiring constant alertness, activity and attention to detail.
