A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEMBER CARE CENTER/ CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE
As a Member Care Center / Call Center Representative, you answer phones, chats, and other member inquiries. As a voice for our credit union, you make sure that your warmth and willingness to help come through in every interaction. You greet members in a courteous and professional manner and work to build a positive relationship with them throughout each interaction. With patience, you answer questions and solve concerns. You perform troubleshooting, problem-solving, and maintenance of member accounts, assisting members with basic banking tasks such as processing withdrawal requests, looking up account info, checking deposits, posting loan payments, making general ledger transactions, processing account transfers, preparing wires, and issuing official checks.
You educate members on all the products and services we offer, quoting current savings and consumer loan rates and terms. Utilizing your product knowledge, you use a consultative approach to uncover needs and cross-sell financial products. Conscientiously, you adhere to all security practices. You handle as much as possible yourself, but forward calls to the appropriate person when needed. While some callers require extra patience, most are appreciative of the excellent customer service that you provide. You enjoy being part of a supportive team that respects each other, and you go home at the end of each shift feeling good about the great customer service that you've provided for our members!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MEMBER CARE CENTER/ CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Good computer and software aptitude
  • Excellent customer service skills

BANKING WORK SCHEDULE
Our call center is open from Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 9am-1pm. Shifts would be during those hours.
