The Americas Business Process Reengineering (BPR) team is looking for an exceptional project manager, with a proven record of managing projects. The successful candidate will have demonstrated very strong leadership capabilities, is capable of leading in both strategic and tactical situations, and adept in managing both vertically and laterally in the organization. The candidate must be capable of building strong relationships with business partners both within and outside of our organization, demonstrating unyielding ownership and accountability, and using these strengths to influence the direction of the business in the function they support.
Description
The individual contributor in this role will be responsible for managing regional projects from an operations point of view, and leading the conceptualization, design, development, and implementation of the solutions that we champion and/or support. Effectively manages alignment and communication between stakeholders, subject matter experts, executives and other internal groups Excellent forward thinking capabilities. Must be able to see beyond the current state, identify risks/opportunities and drive project teams toward the desired outcomes. Works in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, senses direction where it may be unclear, and does so without a loss of performance Demonstrates an unwavering ability to maintain poise and a positive attitude in an exciting and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Project Management or Continuous Improvement certification (PMP, SAPM, Six Sigma, etc.)
Demonstrates excellent communication skills at all levels in the organization, both written and oral
Detailed knowledge and understanding of Supply and Demand planning fundamentals with operational experience.
Experience using project management software
Partners with global functional teams both inside and outside of the operations organization, maintain strong support for regional functional teams
Demonstrates capability to perform in both strategic and tactical capabilities, and ability to shift between them as defined by the needs of the role
Thinks with a focus on life cycle management when considering new solutions for the business
Is skilled in navigating an environment of ambiguity and uncertainty, making sound decisions on behalf of their teams, and can set direction in their work even when needed information or data may be missing or incomplete.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required in Operations Management, Supply Chain or related discipline.
Five years of experience managing complex and global projects in the areas of Supply Chain and Operation
Five years of experience in implementation, process improvement, technical documentation, test planning, and user acceptance testing
Excellent written and oral communication skills
