Description: Our client is currently seeking a Business Process Mapping Engineer
Position Description
The Business Process Mapping Engineer position aligns with client efforts to move to a Digital Enterprise by modeling the link between all business processes.
The ideal candidate for a Process Mapping Engineer role should have a strong background in engineering, a passion for process improvement, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
They should also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Map business processes both within and across multiple cross functional departments including engineering, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain.
Creating process maps and flowcharts to help visualize and understand the process including activities, roles and responsibilities, data, and tool/software usage.
Collaborating with various business units, stakeholders, and team members to gather process information and requirements
Assessing existing business processes and drive process improvements by identifying areas for waste, redundancy, or lack of clarification.
Designing efficient and effective business processes that meet the business needs and objectives
Assist in the successful deployment of the process changes to the business including communication, training and after deployment feedback.
Training and guiding staff members on new processes and procedures
Monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of new processes and making adjustments as necessary
Maintain process models in a configuration control environment.
Act as a subject matter expert in helping to move business from a digital process environment to digitalizing all of business processes together within an enterprise-wide integrated state.
Ensuring all business processes comply with industry regulations and standards
Skills Required
Excellent oral and written communications.
Our ideal candidates are familiar with business process modeling techniques and have hands-on experience with process improvement projects.
Proven work experience as a Business Process Engineer or similar role
Experience with business process mapping and modeling
Knowledge of business process management principles and best practices
* Process gap identification and process flow optimization recommendation experience
Proven experience mapping process to roles and responsibilities to tools to data flow
Experience using digitalization mapping tools such as Prime BPM
Experience leading Kaizen events
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Skills Preferred
Experience with structured problem-solving techniques
Knowledge of technical requirements and systems relevant to Combat Vehicles
Knowledge of metrics related to Agile and use of them to report back to team members at all levels
1+ years of Scrum/Agile management
In-depth knowledge of Engineering and/or manufacturing environments
Experience with project management
Experience Required: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
Experience Preferred: 10 years of relevant experience
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, or relevant equivalent field
Education Preferred: Master's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, or relevant equivalent field)
