We are a $1 Billion+ company and rapidly growing in the manufacturing sector, seeking an experiencedย Business Process LEAD (PLM)

We are seeking an experiencedย Business Process Leadย to drive the successful implementation and adoption of aย Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)ย platform (Fusion Manage) within our engineering organization.

This is aย business leadership role, responsible for defining, standardizing, and operationalizing engineering processes that will be enabled by PLM.

The role will act on behalf of the Head of Engineering to ensure business requirements are clearly defined, decisions are made in a timely manner, and adoption is achieved across the organization.

This individual willย own business process design, data readiness, and change management, working in close partnership with IT, who will lead the technical implementation.

Key Responsibilities

1.ย Business Process Ownership & Design

  • Lead definition and standardization of core engineering processes, including:
    • Engineering Change Orders (ECO/ECR)
    • Part and BOM management
    • Document control and release processes
    • Product structure governance
  • Facilitate working sessions with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable process requirements for configuration in PLM
  • Drive decision-making and resolve process ambiguity or conflicts

2.ย Program Leadership (Business Side)

  • Act as theย primary business representativeย for the PLM program
  • Attend and actively participate in all core project meetings
  • Partner closely with IT and implementation partners to ensure alignment between process design and system configuration
  • Track and drive completion of business-side deliverables, including process documentation and approvals

3.ย Data Readiness & Migration Oversight

  • Lead business effort for data cleanup and preparation (parts, BOMs, documents)
  • Define data standards, governance, and ownership
  • Ensure readiness for migration into PLM
  • Validate migrated data meets business requirements

4. Change Management & Adoption

  • Develop and execute aย business-led change management strategy

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • 9+ years experience as a Business Process Analyst working their up to Business Process Lead (last 4+ years as a Business Process Lead)

  • Proven experience leadingย PLM implementations from the business side
  • Strong background inย engineering process design and governance
