Branch Operations Manager

The Branch Operations Manager is a strategic partner to the Branch Manager, playing a critical role in driving operational excellence, sales process optimization, and team leadership. This role leads the Inside Sales team, champions CRM and other sales tools, and supports the branch in achieving revenue and cultural goals. The Branch Operations Manager is a key contributor to sales strategy, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration across branches and departments. This position reports to the Branch Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management

· Lead, coach, and develop the Inside Sales team, including training and providing backup support.

· Guide team prioritization and time management to ensure efficient workload distribution.

· Provide coaching on customer interactions, including navigating difficult conversations.

· Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance culture in partnership with the Branch Manager.

· Inside sales team members in this branch report directly to the Branch Operations Manager

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

· Collaborate with the Branch Manager on short and long-term sales strategies.

· Provide insights into process improvements and revenue opportunities.

· Utilize tools such as Dodge Market Reports and vendor reports to inform lead assignments and sales planning.

· Support visibility, reporting, and delegation to drive accountability and results.

Process & Operational Excellence

· Understand, develop, and continuously improve internal sales and operational processes.

· Serve as the CRM champion and potential superuser for other tools and technologies.

· Leverage technology to streamline workflows and enhance team productivity.

· Understand product selection, scrubbing, submission, and release processes; provide backup support as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Partner with other branches and departments to share best practices and align on company-wide initiatives.

· Support office management responsibilities, particularly in the Madison and Green Bay branches.

Qualifications

· Proven experience in sales operations, inside sales leadership, or branch operations.

· Strong understanding of CRM systems and sales process tools; experience as a superuser is a plus.

· Excellent communication, coaching, and team leadership skills.

· Ability to manage complexity, prioritize effectively, and drive process improvements.

· Collaborative mindset with a focus on culture-building and cross-functional teamwork.
