OVERVIEW:

Responsible for successfully leading Subterra through its scalephase by driving growth in orders, revenue, and overall business performance. This role provides strategic leadership, direction, and coaching to the Business Line team, including Operations, Sales, and Technology. Key responsibilities include full P&L ownership for the Business Line, with a strong focus on commercial excellence, execution of key deliverables, and strong collaboration with ADS teams The role is accountable for developing and executing the 3-year Strategy, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), leading the successful scale-up of the Subterra business, and delivering sustained growth in Orders and Revenue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic & Financial Leadership

  • Own full P&L responsibility for the Subterra Business Line.
  • Deliver annual commitments for Orders, Sales, Margin, and overall AOP performance.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain the 3-Year Strategic Growth Plan and annual strategic priorities.
  • Deploy 8020 methodologies to optimize product complexity, streamline offerings, and manage product life cycles..
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across ADS to support growth, engagement, and operational excellence.

Commercial Leadership

  • Lead and manage Business Development team to drive backlog, bookings, and new business creation acrossl markets.
  • Partner closely with the ADS Sales Team to leverage existing customer footprints, expand penetration, and accelerate growth through coordinated commercial strategies.
  • Oversee Business Line Orders and Sales forecasting, ensuring robust processes, accurate visibility, and tactical execution plans that achieve or exceed forecasted results
  • Ensure alignment between Business Development, Regional Sales, and Channel Partners to maximize coverage, responsiveness, and market reach.
  • Hands on support- Participating in Tradeshows, Customer Meetings,

Product Management

  • Lead the successful launch of future hardware and software products ensuring all launch deliverables-including product readiness and commercial enablement
  • Own and drive the futurestate product roadmap, ensuring all initiatives are executed on time, on budget, and within scope
  • Guide crossfunctional collaboration across Technology, Operations, Sales, and ADS partners to remove obstacles, accelerate execution, and maintain alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Ensure product strategy is tightly connected to market insights, customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and longterm Business Line goals.
  • Maintain clear visibility into roadmap progress through structured governance, milestone tracking, and proactive risk mitigation.

Engineering & Technology Leadership

  • Guide development and maintenance of the product and technology roadmap.
  • Lead New Product Development (NPD) prioritization and investment decisions aligned with strategy and market conditions.
  • Ensure timely delivery of strategic and customerbased engineering commitments.

Leadership & Culture

  • Set clear goals, priorities, and accountability swim lanes across the Business Line, ensuring every team member understands ownership, expectations, and success metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of commercial experience with a proven track record of driving Orders, Revenue, Margin expansion, and market growth.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in Business Management, General Management, Product Management, Commercial Leadership, or related roles.
  • Deep product experience, including product strategy, product lifecycle management, roadmap ownership, and successful execution of major product launches.
  • Demonstrated success owning or influencing P&L performance, including strategic planning, pricing, investment prioritization, and operational execution.
  • Ability to translate market insights, customer needs, and competitive intelligence into actionable strategies and product decisions.
  • Proven capability to lead complex initiatives, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results on time and within scope.
  • Preferred experience in the Municipal Water/Wastewater market, including familiarity with procurement processes, funding cycles, and operational challenges.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and coaching skills, with the ability to build highperforming, customerobsessed teams.
  • Ability to travel 25%-50% based on business needs.

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $141,800.00 - $212,800.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
