FitzMark is looking to add an Enterprise Business Development Representative to utilize their knowledge and experience in the third-party logistics field to develop the Enterprise client base. This position will leverage the expanding service offerings of FitzMark to provide customized solutions for high yielding clients and optimize operational efficiency. The Enterprise Business Development Representative is someone with a proven track record of sales achievements, tenacity, and drive, ready to jump into an exciting opportunity for the company.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop a pipeline focused on larger opportunities and generate new business through research, analysis, and discovery through all means of communication with enterprise shippers across all industries.
  • Gain insight into the organization and processes of a prospect or customer to identify opportunities and optimize the best approach to provide solutions and expanded service offerings.
  • Prepare pricing, RFPs, and transportation bids in a timely manner with respect to market demands and internal goals.
  • Collaborate and network internally with the Carrier Operations department and Account Management teams to ensure FitzMark delivers best-in-class service.
  • Manage business operations to support client relations, ensuring retention and optimal service of book of business.
  • Review, analyze, and communicate an in-depth understanding of freight market conditions and business trends to offer solutions internally and externally.
  • Ensure sales, revenue growth, and individual KPIs are met while closing accounts and client relations.
  • Leverage tools and technology to manage and grow account strategy.
  • Evaluate account production and determine needs for additional support or automation.
Experience and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of sales experience within the Third-Party Logistics industry (3PL)
  • A well developed professional network and/or book of business
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • Proven track record and mindset of success in a sales role
  • Self-motivated and ability to operate autonomously within an organization
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (excluding commute to Amherst, NY office)
  • Data entry and integrity within a CRM and TMS
  • Extensive skillset in customer service and account management
Knowledge and Skills
  • Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with customers through email, face-to-face, and telephone communicationย
