Framing Technology is looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive | B2B Sales professional to help launch and grow our outside sales program. This is a true hunter role—not account management. You'll work directly with company leadership to build a sales territory from the ground up while representing innovative aluminum framing and automation solutions to manufacturers, OEMs, machine builders, robotics companies, and systems integrators.

What You'll Do

As a Business Development professional, you'll focus on identifying new opportunities, developing relationships, and growing business throughout your assigned territory.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect new business through phone calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, trade shows, and in-person visits
  • Develop relationships with manufacturers, OEMs, machine builders, automation companies, and systems integrators
  • Identify customer challenges and recommend custom aluminum framing and automation solutions
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Schedule customer meetings, facility tours, and discovery calls
  • Collaborate with engineering and inside sales to develop customized solutions
  • Follow up on proposals, quotes, and customer communications
  • Maintain accurate sales activity using Odoo CRM
  • Monitor industry trends and identify new market opportunities
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales goals

What We're Looking For
  • 3–5+ years of B2B sales, business development, outside sales, or industrial sales experience
  • Proven success generating new business through prospecting and relationship building
  • Strong communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Competitive mindset with persistence and follow-through
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical or engineered products
  • Experience selling into manufacturing, industrial automation, robotics, OEMs, machine builders, or related industries strongly preferred
  • Experience using CRM software
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout an assigned territory
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required
