Job description

Business Development Representative (BDR)

$80–120k OTE | Base + Uncapped Commission | Fast Track To AE

The Loan Store (TLS) is a fast-growing wholesale mortgage lender that partners with loan officers and mortgage brokers nationwide. We help them grow their business, close more deals, and deliver better solutions to their clients.

In this role, you are the fuel that powers TLS's growth. When we set new targets, you’re the laser we point at that goal.

You’ll connect with mortgage loan officers across the country and build real relationships. As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you are the first impression, the voice, and the heartbeat of our business development team.

That is why it is imperative the person in this role embodies our values - Growth, Relationships, Excellence, Authenticity, and Team. Every time you get on the phone or communicate with a partner, you have the opportunity to build a new relationship or expand one to new heights.

What You Do:

● High-volume outreach (100+ calls/texts/emails daily) to mortgage loan officers and broker partners.

● Build, manage, and grow a book of business within assigned accounts

● Help activate new loan officers and support active partners with product and guideline questions.

● Use CRM and automation tools to track your pipeline and performance

● Partner with Account Executives to activate new relationships and grow production

● Deliver a 5-star experience to every partner you engage with

You will be expected to reach out to loan officers every day to convert new business, ramp our most profitable products, and grow company production in a way that keeps them coming back month after month.

Who Thrives Here

To be a successful Business Development Representative (BDR), you must excel at a communication over the phone and written forms. You must be able to solve problems, think critically, overcome objections, and identify opportunities that drive loan officers to choose us over competitors.

You are TLS's front lines to acquire new partner relationships, retain and expand existing relationships, and market our products to our database of loan officers. This is an opportunity to set us apart with a great attitude, a pro-active mindset and creativity on how to serve our partners at the highest level—whether they've never done business with us or if they are one of our most valuable relationships!

Must Haves

● A relentless work ethic and a drive to win

● People who love connecting with others and winning as a team

● Confident communicators — on the phone and in writing

● Organized and proactive — you take pride in excellence

● Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline with organization and efficiency

● 1+ years of sales experience (real estate or finance is a plus)

● CRM experience (helpful but not required)

Why The Loan Store?

● Uncapped earning potential: Your hustle determines your paycheck.

● A fast-growing company: With real opportunities for advancement.

● Merit-based growth: Promotions based on performance, not politics.

● Elite training: Learn the mortgage industry, sales systems, and account growth.

● Culture that wins: Driven, fun, and committed to results.

● Cutting-edge tools: CRM, automation, and data that help you dominate your territory.

Compensation:

● Base salary + uncapped commission structure.

● On-Target Earnings (OTE): $80,000 - $120,000 in your first year.

● Clear path for career growth and increased earnings.
