Job Summary:
This individual will work as part of an agile development team focusing on Continuous Integration and Delivery processes and tools to drive releases to our customers while maintaining 100% uptime for a high profile/high availability application.
Major Duties:
- Works as part of a lean agile development team to deliver business solutions
- Continuous refinement of processes and tools that focus on continuous integration
- Both manage and participate in software build and delivery processes
- Support production change management events
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform responsibly for the creation, implementation, and maintenance (including upgrades) of all tools utilized in our product development and delivery process.
- Perform responsibly for automation of builds, and process improvements for multiple applications.
- Review, analyze, modify programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's applications.
- Manage code repositories and support software integration.
- Understand our architecture of systems including analysis, design, integration and development.
- Establish and maintain a branching/merge strategy consistent with product delivery processes.
- Be responsible for the daily build and release operations of multiple key products, and communication with development, QA, Tech Support and Product Management.
Minimum Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent work experience in enterprise application development.
- At least 5-8 years' experience developing .net and Javascript based web application
- Strong working knowledge with the following technologies / products / methodologies:
o Version control system (VCS) administration for TFS and GIT
o Source code branching strategy and patterns experience
o Software build tools such as MS Build, Team City, Gulp GoCD and NPM
o Test automation tools like Protractor, Selenium, and NUnit
o Automation scripting with Windows Shell scripting
o Programming proficiency in C# and Javascript
Job Specification:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- Engineering, Computer Science
- Generally requires 5-8 years related experience
