Responsibilities

Release Planning & Coordination

  • Own the release calendar for the Digital Draw Games portfolio, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps, marketing campaigns, and regulatory timelines.
  • Coordinate and releases across engineering, QA, product management, design, compliance, and operations.
  • Ensure game achieve a release ready state tailored to each market and ensure that customer promise is fulfilled or proactively adjusted according to feasibility
  • Facilitate release planning sessions, stand-ups, and go/no-go meetings.

Deployment Management

  • Ensure successful deployment of games, updates, and platform enhancements across multiple environments (dev, test, staging, production).
  • Own the release calendar per market/customer and become single point of contact around release readiness for ongoing and upcoming games.
  • Define and maintain standardised release processes, templates, and checklists.
  • Partner with DevOps to optimise CI/CD pipelines for game delivery.

Quality & Risk Management

  • Monitor readiness criteria, test completion, and defect management to guarantee release quality.
  • Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning for each release.
  • Ensure rollback procedures, contingency plans, and incident responses are in place.

Compliance & Regulatory Alignment

  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all releases meet required lottery regulations, security standards, and jurisdictional controls.
  • Manage audit trails, documentation, and approvals for regulators.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as the central point of contact for all release-related updates, risks, blockers, and timelines.
  • Provide clear, proactive communication to internal teams and external partners.
  • Produce weekly and monthly release reports and post-release retrospectives.

Process Improvement

  • Analyse release performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Advocate for automation, efficiency, and best-practice workflows across game development and release teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certifications in Release Management, Agile, or Project Management.
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers or studios.
Required Tech Skills
  • Experience with release management, software deployment, or live operations (gaming, lottery, or fintech preferred).
  • Understanding of CI/CD, Git, build processes, and deployment pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies and tools.
  • Experience working in regulated gaming, iLottery, instant win games, or iGaming.
  • Understanding of RNG-based game development and certification processes.
Soft Skills
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
