Job description

About the Role

NLP Logix is seeking a Change and Release Manager to lead the end-to-end change and release process for our enterprise client engagements. This highly visible role connects our clients with Engineering, QA, Product, Client Success, and Support to ensure releases are carefully planned, clearly communicated, and successfully executed.

You will own release schedules, readiness coordination, release notes, and change communications while helping teams anticipate risks and keep clients informed. This is an opportunity to shape and improve how releases are managed across a growing AI technology company.

Because releases and go-live events do not always occur during standard business hours, this position requires occasional evening, late-night, or weekend availability.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the end-to-end change and release process for assigned client engagements.
  • Manage the release calendar, sequencing, readiness reviews, dependencies, and go/no-go decisions.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, QA, Product, Client Success, and Support to confirm testing, documentation, communication, and rollback plans are complete.
  • Write clear, client-ready release notes and change communications for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during release windows and go-live events.
  • Provide timely status updates and support client communications during releases, incidents, and escalations.
  • Build trusted relationships with client technical and business stakeholders.
  • Identify risks early and escalate concerns with clear context and recommended next steps.
  • Maintain accurate change logs, release documentation, and post-release summaries.
  • Improve release processes, communication standards, and change management practices as the company grows.
Qualifications
  • One to two years of experience in release management, change management, technical program coordination, or a related client-facing technical role.
  • Experience working with Engineering, QA, Product, DevOps, or other technical teams.
  • Strong customer service skills and experience managing client expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information into clear, business-friendly language.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple releases, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and solutions-focused during releases, go-lives, and unexpected issues.
  • Sound judgment regarding risk identification and escalation.
  • ITIL certification and working knowledge of Agile/Scrum or a formal change management framework.
  • Willingness to occasionally work evenings, late nights, or weekends to support critical release activities.
Preferred — Nice to Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting enterprise clients in a technology, SaaS, consulting, or professional services environment.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, or another release management or ITSM platform.
  • Experience participating in Change Advisory Board processes.
What Will Make You Successful

You are customer-focused, technically curious, and comfortable bringing structure to a fast-moving environment. You communicate early, stay composed under pressure, and take ownership without waiting to be asked. Most importantly, you enjoy working across teams to turn complex changes into smooth, well-managed client experiences.
