Charlotte, NC - 3 days a week onsite.

Description

Release Manager

Understand Release/Deployment Components. Understand risks and can ally controls necessary to mitigate. Facilitate team planning ceremonies against release milestones. Ability to answer team Agile/waterfall framework questions. Ability to understand big picture and connect all details.

Required Skills

โ€ข Project Planning/Project Management and Analytical Thinking - Moderate to advanced Project Planning software skills (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, etc. โ€“ experience with critical path analysis, predecessor/successor relationships)

โ€ข Collaboration, Facilitation, and Stakeholder Management - Moderate to advanced Meeting facilitation skills (being able to facilitate, drive, and redirect large scale meetings while working through a deliverable such as a project plan)

โ€ข Agile Practices - At least moderate exposure to Jira tools

โ€ข Data Management - Moderate to advanced experience with Production โ€œrecord of changeโ€ tools such as ITSM BMC Remedy or ServiceNow (Tasks, Configuration Item management, Relationships, etc.)

โ€ข Risk Management โ€“ Previous experience with Risk Management (identifying and escalating release related risks)

โ€ข Managing and coordinating assigned change from initiation to closure

โ€ข Coordinating interfaces between Change Management and other ITSM processes

โ€ข Coordinating planning, implementation, and verification activities with all change stakeholders

โ€ข Planning and runbook reviews with change stakeholders

โ€ข Stakeholder management

โ€ข Facilitating the triage of any issues found during release related activities

โ€ข Able to learn and understand the tools that must be used for the completion of the above job duties (e.g. Remedy, Cutover, MS Project, Jira, Release Manager Tool)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
