This position is hybrid 3 days per week in either our Cincinnati, OH, Atlanta, GA, or Denver, CO office OR fully remote within the Greater Boston Area.

As a Build Release Engineer you could work with bleeding edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.
What you'll own
  • Maintaining and improving a large-scale build and test pipeline used by dozens of engineers

  • Day to day, you will:

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines

  • Troubleshoot and fix pipeline issues

  • Improve and upgrade pipeline components

  • Build tools to support developers

  • Troubleshoot build and deployment issues across environments (DEV, QA)

  • Automate deployments and configuration management using Ansible or Puppet

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams for seamless code integration and release

What you'll bring
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience and 5+ years related of experience

  • Strong software development experience

  • Strong Java and scripting (Bash, Python) skills

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines

  • Solid knowledge of Git and Jenkins

  • Strong Linux skills

  • Ability to debug complex systems and work in unfamiliar codebases

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

It's a bonus if you have
  • Working knowledge of SQL and databases

  • Familiarity with any of: Grafana, Ansible, GitHub (including Actions)
