Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Bookkeeper in Hemet, CA. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage daily financial functions for a growing electrical manufacturing company in Hemet, CA. This role is responsible for supporting accurate financial reporting, job costing, and compliance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: $45,000 to $60,000 Annually BOE

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily bookkeeping activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports to ensure accurate tracking.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices and perform necessary follow-up on outstanding receivables.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and balance sheet accounts regularly.
  • Maintain accurate records for inventory, job costing, and work-in-process (WIP).
  • Coordinate month-end and year-end close activities and prepare financial reports for management.
  • Support payroll processing and related tax filings while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals to ensure financial documentation is accurate.
  • Maintain organized financial files and provide general administrative support to the management team.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, specifically within manufacturing or construction.
  • Strong technical understanding of AP, AR, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Proven experience with job costing and work-in-process (WIP) accounting procedures.
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a production-focused environment.
