Warranty Booker

Warranty Booker - Summary

You will be the final gatekeeper for repair orders, ensuring every line is coded correctly, labor punches match the work performed, and all claims meet Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) compliance standards. Your goal is simple: maximize legitimate revenue while maintaining a zero-error rate for audits.

Warranty Booker - Essential Duties - Include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Claim Booking: Process and close repair orders by applying correct operation codes and labor times.
  • Audit Compliance: Review technician stories to ensure they meet MB standards (Condition, Cause, Remedy).
  • NetStar Proficiency: Navigate MBUSA systems to verify vehicle history, service campaigns, and recall status.
  • Documentation: Ensure all supporting photos, paperless documents, and sublet invoices are attached and compliant.

Education and/or Preferred Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in automotive warranty (Mercedes-Benz experience highly preferred).
  • Systems: Proficiency with NetStar and common DMS platform (CDK).
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Xentry Portal Platforms and MBUSA warranty policy manuals.
  • Communication: Ability to work closely with Service Team to clarify "vague" stories before booking.
