Used Car Technician/Mechanic Job Responsibilities

  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Keep the shop area neat and clean
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership

Used Car Technician/Mechanic Qualifications

  • 1-3 years prior used car technician experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Personal Tools
