Description:

Baker Motor Company is looking for a friendly and experienced Parts Advisor to join our team. The Parts Advisor will work closely with our service department to provide a pleasant and seamless service experience to our clients. When clients call or visit the parts department, the Parts Advisor will: greet them, listen to their needs, and determine what parts they need. The Parts Advisor will also assist with the parts department inventory by checking and scanning in shipments and documenting discrepancies to ensure counts are correct. The Parts Advisor will report directly to the Parts Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist clients and service team members in selecting required parts in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and respond to questions and requests about parts.
  • Greet retail clients at counter and determine their parts needs.
  • Process payments and returns for clients in-person or electronically.
  • Work with the service department to ensure parts are available, billed, or ordered when needed.
  • Ensure an accurate inventory by receiving, tagging, storing, and returning parts promptly.
  • Assist with parts inventory management through bin counts and accurate record keeping.
  • Track special orders and notify service department or client when parts arrive.
  • Notify parts manager of any out-of-stock parts or shop supplies.
  • Keep orderly records of all estimates, orders, and invoices.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
