Mercedes-Benz of Rockville Centre is looking for a motivated, dependable individual to join our Parts Department as an Entry-Level Automotive Parts Associate. Whether you're entering the workforce for the first time or looking to begin a career in the automotive industry, this is an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while working with one of the world's most recognized luxury automotive brands.

No automotive experience? No problem.

We provide hands-on training and Mercedes-Benz factory education to teach you everything you need to know about genuine Mercedes-Benz parts, inventory management, dealership operations, and warehouse logistics.

This position is designed as the first step toward becoming a Mercedes-Benz Parts Advisor. We invest significant time training our team, so we're looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes pride in their work, and is interested in building a long-term career within our Parts Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, scan, and process incoming Mercedes-Benz shipments.

  • Organize and stock inventory while maintaining accurate warehouse locations.

  • Prepare parts orders for technicians, customer pickup, local delivery and shipping.

  • Package and label outgoing orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Process manufacturer warranty returns, recycling and scrap materials according to Mercedes-Benz standards.

  • Assist with inventory counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.

  • Support Technicians and Parts Advisors by ensuring parts are available quickly and accurately. 

  • Learn Mercedes-Benz inventory systems, parts identification, and dealership operations through hands-on training.
  • Complete required Mercedes-Benz factory and dealership training.

  • Assist with local parts deliveries as needed.

  • Perform general warehouse operations and additional responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a team-first attitude while contributing to the overall success of Mercedes-Benz of Rockville Centre.

Qualifications:

  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Have experience with auto parts sales (or retail experience)

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Are able to work in a fast-paced work environment

  • Have strong organizational and time management skills

  • Well groomed and presentable in a luxury retail environment

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
