Job description

We are hiring for our brand-new, top-of-the-line warehouse, and we want you to be a part of our growing team! This exciting opportunity is available on the Weekend Dayshift, giving you a 3 day work week! As a Distribution Clerk-Wave Planner, you'll play a key role in managing and optimizing our operations, ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment.

Weekend Day Shift:Friday-Sunday 5:30AM-5:30PM

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage wave plans in Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure optimal order picking and shipping efficiency.
  • Monitor and prioritize orders based on customer requirements, inventory levels, and shipping schedules.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors, inventory control, and shipping teams to ensure smooth execution of wave plans.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to wave planning and order fulfillment, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to wave planning, order picking, and shipping.
  • Maintain and update WMS configurations and settings to support efficient wave planning processes.
  • Scan and upload all shipping documents in TMS from the previous day.
  • Check-in all incoming drivers in Blue Yonder to confirm load details are accurate.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance warehouse operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Experience with warehouse management systems, preferably Blue Yonder.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
