Job description

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Looking for a stable warehouse position with full benefits and 3 weeks of paid vacation in your first year?

Our Warehouse Associates are responsible for supporting the daily requirements of the company and their managers to ensure an exceptional customer experience. While participating in the overall warehouse strategy, this individual is responsible for their own individual output while contributing to the overall success of all warehouse teams.

This position is subject to overtime, depending on business needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Unload, count, inspect, palletize, unitize, strap, kit, assemble, wrap, consolidate, put-away, replenish, pick, pack, and ship company goods as assigned by Supervisors, Managers, or the Director
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of the above-mentioned actions
  • Inspect inbound shipments and approve or deny receipt based on condition of goods received
  • Communicate any errors or discrepancies to supervisors as they are uncovered
  • Contribute to company goals in order processing for receipt and shipment
  • Assist with inventory control
  • Aid in the general maintenance and upkeep of the facilities and equipment
  • Stay current on all warehouse training to promote a safe working environment
  • Notify management when goods are found to be in inadequate condition for shipments
  • All other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by supervisors and upper management

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills
  • Must have good math skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Must be self-motivated, proactive, positive, and results-oriented 
  • Must pass a drug screen and background investigation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities to meet tight deadlines
  • Willing to work weekends and overtime during peak business periods

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly required to walk or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to safely operate and control warehouse equipment and machinery
