Pay: $19.00 per hour
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19140
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Saturday (5 days per week)

  • Rotating shifts: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Shortened, rotating Saturday coverage with another receptionist

Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bilingual Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service while serving as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors, patients, and program participants and direct them appropriately.
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls and take messages as needed.
  • Schedule intake, follow-up, and provider appointments.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and update demographic information in the EMR.
  • Collect copays and private payments and issue receipts.
  • Maintain billing sheets and assist with administrative documentation.
  • Process incoming and outgoing faxes, correspondence, and medical records.
  • Provide appointment reminder calls and assist with prescriber scheduling.
  • Maintain provider calendars and clinic schedules.
  • Help maintain organized office and storage areas.
  • Provide coverage at other clinic locations as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare or medical office experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Availability to work rotating schedules, early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
