Your Main Focus:
This position directs and leads the overall On Premise sales efforts in the assigned district to maximize product sales, distribution and profitability. This position is responsible for developing and managing On Premise accounts toward the successful completion of the district goals. The On Premise Sales Specialist is responsible for compliance within the assigned district according to the company's policies in all areas impacted by the sales department.
  • Execute & achieve district goals & objectives for volume sales & product distribution.
  • Maintain & develop targeted non-buy account list by customer & brand. Work with supplier, MBD sales & marketing personnel to secure new business through closure of account & distribution voids on a timely basis.
  • Identify, target & develop potential new accounts in district on a consistent basis.
  • Ensure optimal & maximum utilization of promotional programs & company resources including promotional nights & special events. Actively participate & coordinate all channel activities as needed. Prepare & submit reports & results to management on a timely basis.
  • Ensure timely placement & maximum utilization of generic & thematic POS materials within assigned district.
  • Maintain & develop sales & distribution of customer base with focus & emphasis on total volume and placement of core brands in the top 25 accounts. Utilize RAMP process to measure performance.
  • Complete Operation Street (2x Weekly) and share results with Supervision & Sales Rep on a timely basis.
  • Perform & submit all administrative & financial reports to interdepartmental personnel on a timely basis.
  • Leverage and manage discounting and effectively manage price points to ensure maximum volume and distribution potential is realized.
  • Utilize Draught Survey and Building With Beer Tool to increase share, volume and distribution.
  • Utilize all resources and information to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain budgetary guidelines effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure QA policies & procedures are followed through the proper rotation of products in all accounts visited.
  • Effectively and consistently utilize the RAMP process to identify opportunities in accounts and communicate the results with the respective sales team.
  • Effectively perform job responsibilities outlined in the Performance Appraisal.

Position Requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of retail trade, sales & strategic marketing in the beverage industry.
  • Valid Drivers License and Car
  • Proven record of achievement in sales within a multi-layered sales organization.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Cicerone Beer Server Certified a plus.

The typical range for someone entering this role is $70,000.00-$75,000.00 annually, including base salary and commission opportunities. However, this may vary based on market factors. Reimbursement is provided for the use of your vehicle. Full benefits available.
