DESCRIPTION:
The 3-time WNBA Champions Los Angeles Sparks are growing! We are seeking an Executive Assistant to the President & General Manager, who will be responsible for providing high-level administrative and operational support to the President and General Manager, with occasional support to the Head Coach and other senior leaders as needed.
This is a critical role within the organization and ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, anticipates needs before they arise, and operates with exceptional professionalism, judgment, and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate is adaptable, calm under pressure, highly trustworthy, and excited to be part of a team helping shape the future of one of the most iconic brands in women's sports. This role requires someone who can bring structure, organization, and thoughtful execution to a dynamic and evolving environment. This position will work under the direction of the President and General Manager.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage complex and ever-changing calendars for the President and General Manager
  • Coordinate meetings across internal staff, league stakeholders, partners, agents, and external executives
  • Arrange and manage travel logistics, itineraries, transportation, and accommodations
  • Assist with meeting preparation, agendas, presentations, briefing materials, and follow-up action items
  • Draft and manage professional correspondence, including emails and other executive communications
  • Help coordinate cross-functional projects and organizational priorities across business and basketball operations
  • Help create structure, organization, and operational consistency across a fast-moving environment
  • Serve as a trusted extension of senior leadership, representing executives with professionalism and sound judgment
  • Prioritize and manage competing demands with discretion, urgency, and strong decision-making skills
  • Support game-day and event operations as needed, including select evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive business and basketball information
  • Anticipate executive needs and proactively solve problems before they arise
  • Assist with expense reporting, invoice processing, and administrative organization
  • Serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Strong ability to anticipate needs, think proactively, and solve problems independently
  • Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, evolving, and team-first environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively across both business and basketball operations
  • Strong project coordination and administrative management skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands with urgency and sound decision-making skills

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams
  • Experience in sports, entertainment, media, or high-growth environments is a plus, but not required
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proven ability to handle highly confidential information with exceptional discretion, professionalism, and judgment
  • High emotional intelligence with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and calendar management tools
  • Ability to remain calm, flexible, and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • This is primarily an in-office role based in Los Angeles, CA
  • Availability to work select evenings, weekends, and game days is expected
  • Occasional travel may be required

COMPENSATION:
  • Compensation based on experience and qualifications; starting salary range at $75,000
