Summary
Ursuline College is seeking candidates for an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach. Ursuline College is a member of NCAA Division II and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC). Professional and personal integrity are of high priority. This is a 12-month full-time position which starts immediately. Position reports to the Head Basketball Coach.
Responsibilities
To assist the head coach in the administrative and operation of the women's basketball program. Duties include (not limited to): teaching and modeling program mission and core values; assisting in all practice sessions, skill instruction and competitive events; team travel; assisting with recruitment of student-athletes; assisting in fundraising and community service; video exchange; scouting; student-athlete academic monitoring; managing equipment needs; summer camp; and general program administration.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an inclusive community.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record and the ability to drive passenger vans.
  • Commitment to high standards of character as well as a commitment to student-athlete success both academically and athletically.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous collegiate basketball coaching and playing experience.
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules.
  • Strength and conditioning familiarity/background.
  • Midwest recruiting ties.
  • Experience in HS/college player skill development.
  • Familiarity with Synergy and FastModel scouting software.
