Job Summary
The Director of Basketball Operations works alongside the Head Coach to oversee the complete operations of the men's basketball program.
Responsibilities*
  • Serve as Basketball Liaison with Business Office
  • Oversee all purchases and contractual agreements
  • Serve as Basketball Liaison with Travel Office
  • Coordinate Travel Logistics for the men's basketball team
  • Schedule future opponents
  • Oversee Scheduling for team practice times, visiting team logistics, and home game logistics
  • Oversee Student-Athlete Campus needs including financial aid, holiday break arrangements, incoming freshman logistics, academic mentorship, public relations, media appearances, and compliance forms
  • Serve as Basketball Liaison with Ticket Office
  • Oversee ticket allocation for home basketball and football recruiting tickets, and home and away basketball tickets for student-athletes and staff.
  • Serve as Basketball Liaison with Nutrition Specialist, arrange Team Training Table meals
  • Serve as Basketball Liaison with Equipment Manager and Apparel Provider
  • Serve as Basketball Liaison with Facilities Managers
  • Work with Staff GM to facilitate NIL activities
  • Assist with all on-campus recruiting activities

Required Qualifications*
  • Must demonstrate an understanding of the NCAA Compliance rules.
  • Have NCAA Basketball working or playing experience.
  • Must have 4 year college degree
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with all individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must work well in work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and time sensitive demands.
