Bachelor's degree in related field. One year of experience in a related field. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position
Performs semi-complex administrative and supervisory program work for Women's Basketball.
Primary Responsibilities
Oversees the work of assigned program staff. Prepares and reviews reports on the effectiveness of program activities. Plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates all aspects of team travel to include scheduling of hotels, busses, equipment trucks, and meals. Ensures travel arrangements, while conforming to University and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) guidelines. Travels with the team to all functions to ensure student athletes are provided with adequate housing and meals. Reviews all bills related to team functions, and submits them to the Athletic Finance office for payment. Oversees the process of fundraising, promotions, inventory management and events for program. Recommends program guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations. Performs other related duties as assigned.
