Job Summary
B&C Diesel Services are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring that fleet and vehicle maintenance and repair needs are accurately communicated and addressed. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to upsell services when appropriate. Willing to train service writer position

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assess their vehicle maintenance or repair needs.
  • Document customer concerns and relay information to the service technicians.
  • Provide detailed estimates for repairs and maintenance services.
  • Upsell additional services based on vehicle condition and customer needs.
  • Schedule service appointments and manage the workflow in the service department.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, services performed, and parts used.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.
  • Stay updated on dealership promotions, service specials, and product knowledge.
