  • Position Summary
    We are looking for someone who wants to join a fast-paced growing company, is comfortable with change and has the flexibility to change priorities at a moment's notice. A successful individual in this role will be willing to perform functional testing (i.e., Audio, connections, OS, etc.), cosmetic inspection (i.e., Cosmetic defects or physical damage, etc.) Perform reverse engineering on Caption Phones. To include disassemble, examine, and analyze in detail manufacture defections. Work closely with company engineer and development department. Provide disposition of returned phones by company grade and customer need.
    This role will be based in the Antioch, TN warehouse and report to the Site Operations Manager.
    What you will do:
    • Receive returned phones from shipping and perform cosmetic inspection.
    • Grade (cosmetic) all returned company Assets for refurbishment and/or E-Waste.
    • Functional testing performed on Asset. To include all functions are considered ETN (Equivalent to New) prior to releasing to customer.
    • Tested and cosmetic Asset parts are available in FGI (Finished Goods Inventory) for customer requests. (handsets, power adapter, curly cords, and stands).
    • Testing parameters as needed to reflect potential bugs found, reported or issues relayed from the field to assist with narrowing down issues. Compiled findings in detail sent to Manager and other Departments as per protocol.
    • Report findings on returned phones to Engineering Department (ex. Audio issues, potential bugs Caption complaints, cosmetic defects & etc.).
    • Verify RMA cases meet the minimum requirements for Triage to process request from Support.
    • Present to Departments in a clear and comprehensive manner as required covering any range of issues: Bug reports, system issues, training opportunities, improvements to existing process's and more.
    • Monitor unusual account activity as discovered in the daily implementation job and have impact on the execution of duties.
    • Work with other departments and management when an issue appears causing Triage to be unable to process request from Customer Experience team to find a prompt solution or work around until immediate issue is addressed and resolved.
    • Ability to act and react promptly to any additional request from Management and not having your daily responsibilities impacted.

    Qualifications:
    • High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) preferred.
    • Working knowledge of mobile devices including but not limited to cell phones and tablets.
    • Ability to learn new programs and software with generalized training.
    • Working knowledge of Windows OS.
    • Working knowledge of IOS.
    • Functional ability to use MS Office Suite.
    • Knowledge of home networking including but not limited to navigating routers.
    • Ability to actively use available resources to find solutions (ex. Internet, case notes, etc).
    • General knowledge of computers and related peripherals.
    • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and rules.
    • Work under limited supervision.
    • General knowledge of proper sanitization and health guidelines as they apply to resending phones, accessories, & etc. to the public.
    • General knowledge in technical writing.
    • Basic knowledge of VPN and firewalls.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
    • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality. Willingness and ability to work flexible hours.
    • Proficient in MS Office, modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams)

    Physical Requirements:
    Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time:
    • Sitting, standing, and walking (98%)
    • Keyboarding (100%)
    • Viewing computer monitor, tablet and cell phone screen requiring close vision (100%)
    • May lift or move boxes up to 10lbs.

    Work Environment:
    Work is performed in a warehouse environment.

Compensation:
$21.00 to $22.00/hr determined by competitive market analysis and internal equity considerations. Final compensation will be based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and business needs.
