Job Descriptions
We are currently seeking highly skilled English Live Captioners with proven and solid experience in providing real-time captioning for various events, presentations, and broadcasts to join our global subtitling network.
Requirements
If you would like to pursue freelance opportunities with us, please attach your CV in English, providing detailed information regarding your Live Captioning experience. (*non-English CV will NOT be considered).
Please make sure your CV shows us that you meet the following basic requirements:
Linguistic Skills and Operational Availability
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Proficiency in English (US) as a native speaker.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the country as needed to support specific live events or on-site productions.
  • Flexibility to adapt to work schedules outside normal business hours to meet live broadcast demands.

Industry and Tool Experience
  • Prior experience in live broadcasting, media production, or a real-time subtitling unit is a must.
  • Proficiency in using professional captioning software and equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of captioning guidelines, including proper placement, formatting, and accessibility standards.
  • Familiarity with various captioning formats, such as WebVTT, and SRT

Flexibility and Accountability
  • Strong ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and focus under the pressure of tight, real-time deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as a cohesive part of a production team.
