Our clients include major Hollywood studios and dozens of independent studios. To date, we've delivered thousands of titles to iTunes, Google, Netflix, Amazon, and others. About the role
Due to increased demand for localized content, Pixelogic is looking for experienced English into Khmer subtitling translators and QCers to establish a professional, high-performing collaboration as part of our language services department with the end goal of servicing our clients' end-to-end projects.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess a flexible attitude, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. In addition, they must be able to work as part of a team that deals with changing priorities and workloads.
Due to the sensitive nature of the delivery schedule, time flexibility is of paramount importance.
Requirements
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all aspects of subtitle file creation, depending on assignment, whether Conforming, Translating or Proofreading/QC'ing of subtitle files using Pixelogic proprietary cloud based subtitling software
  • Leverage in-house glossary tool for consistency across products as well as follow client style guide specifications
  • Handle rejections/make corrections in files
  • Remain current with industry trends, and adapt to evolving client requirements
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive content.

Requirements:
  • Khmer and English bilingual
  • Knowledge of other languages is an asset
  • Minimum of 2 years of subtitling translation and/or proofreading experience required
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must have demonstrated ability to accomplish work on a rigorous schedule (on-time delivery and flexible working hours)
  • Ability to follow technical / style guide for multiple client content types
