Job description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Property Manager to lease and manage several properties. In this position, your main responsibilities are to show apartments, lease, and collect current and delinquent rents. Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of property management and/or leasing experience, be organized, have excellent communication skills, Microsoft Office experience, and phone etiquette skills.
Property Manager Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responding to potential tenant interest in rental properties via telephone and digital platforms in a timely manner
  • Conduct tenant background checks, including reference letters, rental history, income verification, and criminal record reviews
  • Establishing tenant expectations for security deposits, procedures for rent payments, and amenities that will be part of the lease
  • Schedule and show prospect available apartments
  • Dispatch daily work orders and communicate with maintenance department
  • Prepare rental leases and annual lease renewals
  • Provide a weekly status report on the condition of the property and any issues that arise to supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintain a positive and productive relationship with tenants
