Job description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented licensed RE Agent/Senior Property Manager to manage our rental properties and ensure that they meet high quality standards. As a Senior Property Manager, we will rely on you to coordinate real estate activities including rent collection, tenant screening, rental property management, property maintenance, ad hoc projects and managing the daily operations of our rental property portfolio. You should be highly organized and able to handle various administrative tasks related to properties, while being a strong decision maker. The goal is to create value for our customers by delivering customized solutions and achieving long-term growth . If you are an experienced property manager who feels passionate about your work, we want to meet you.

This position is hands on, and will be responsible for both property management duties and overseeing employees and processes for the company as a whole.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, supervise and coordinate the work of assistant property managers and support staff.
  • Perform daily property management related tasks.
  • Set high performance standards and manage performance appraisal processes .
  • Establish, maintain and enhance all relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Provide staff support, training and development and motivate them to meet all objectives.
  • Analyze data and make informed decisions regarding budgeting, staffing and project proposals .
  • Identify new business areas to develop new revenue opportunities .
  • Manage the office, including budgets, leases and procedures.
  • Increase office efficiency by organization, training and implementation of new information systems.
  • Manage maintenance staff.
  • Provide 24-hour call service for emergencies or urgent issues .
  • Serve as key liaison with tenants, vendors, lenders and contractors.
  • Negotiate lease renewals.
  • Participate in decision-making regarding real estate industry trends.
  • Review legal documents such as leases, purchase agreements, building permits etc.
  • Prepare financial statements.
  • Oversee rental processes of commercial units in multi-unit buildings such as lease receipt, maintenance request processing.
  • REAL ESTATE LICENSE REQUIRED - WILL NEED TO SWITCH TO THE OWNERS BROKERAGE
