Tri-Hill Management is expanding! We are seeking a motivated, high-energy Associate Property Manager to join our upbeat team. This role is designed for a professional who has the fundamentals of NYC property management and is ready to handle a diverse residential portfolio located in NYC.

At Tri-Hill, we don’t just manage buildings; we manage relationships. You will be the point person for owners, tenants, and field staff, ensuring our properties operate at peak efficiency while staying ahead of the city’s ever-changing regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight: Lead day-to-day operations, from auditing tenant files to coordinating with facilities teams and third-party vendors.
  • Financial Management: Review arrears reports, oversee vendor invoices, and manage security deposit dispositions after unit inspections.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay ahead of the curve by processing HPD violations, approving annual building registrations, and ensuring properties meet all NYC local laws.
  • Tenant Advocacy: Assist residents with rent relief and subsidy renewals (SCRIE, DRIE, Section 8) while maintaining high-touch communication via phone and email.
  • Field Leadership: Conduct weekly site inspections to ensure compliance with city regulations and Tri-Hill’s standard operating procedures.
  • Legal & Administrative Support: Partner with Landlord & Tenant (L&T) attorneys, attend owner meetings, and maintain the Group Master Tracker.

The Ideal Candidate

  • NYC Property Management Experienced: You have 2+ years of property management experience specifically within New York City.
  • Software Savvy: You are proficient in AppFolio (or similar property management platforms).
  • Hours: Monday – Thursday (In-Office), Friday (Remote). 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Health benefits (medical, dental, vision) $10,000 company paid life insurance coverage
  • 401(k) with 3% company match
