Contract: Long-term contract through December 2027


Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to support a growing regulated manufacturing operation in Draper, Utah. This role will support multiple concurrent projects across the organization and provide day-to-day project leadership, planning, coordination, and execution support.

The ideal candidate is a technically oriented project professional with an engineering background and hands-on experience managing critical projects in a regulated manufacturing environment. This individual will help establish consistency and structure across projects by applying a common project management methodology and ensuring projects remain aligned with scope, schedule, communication, and deliverables.

Candidates with Project Coordinator or Junior Project Manager backgrounds who have demonstrated increasing responsibility and hands-on ownership of projects will also be considered.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project charters, timelines, project plans, communication plans, and project documentation.
  • Establish project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure project activities remain aligned with established timelines and objectives.
  • Track project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
  • Facilitate project meetings and communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Drive accountability across project team members and follow up on outstanding actions.
  • Apply a consistent project management methodology across independent project leads and cross-functional teams.
  • Support day-to-day sustaining activities and project execution within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Identify potential schedule, resource, technical, or execution risks and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Maintain clear and organized project records, status reports, and communications.
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, operations, and other functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Support multiple project workstreams as priorities evolve across the organization.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, including Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 5-10 years of project management or project coordination experience.
  • Hands-on experience managing or leading critical projects from planning through execution.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment such as medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or automotive.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop project charters, timelines, communication plans, and other project management deliverables.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and driving project deliverables to completion.
  • Strong problem-solving, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work onsite five days per week in Draper, UT.


Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification.
  • Experience implementing or working within a formal project management methodology.
  • Experience managing engineering, manufacturing, equipment, process improvement, or sustaining projects.
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing.
