About the Role
FMG's Product Operations team sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and the business - and we're growing. We're looking for a Project Manager who thrives in the complexity of software delivery: someone who can hold a complex program together, keep cross-functional teams aligned, and make sure the right things ship at the right time.
This isn't a coordinator role. You'll own delivery across multiple product initiatives simultaneously, working alongside Product Managers, Engineering leads, and stakeholders across the organization. You'll be the connective tissue that keeps commitments visible, blockers surfaced, and delivery on track.
You'll be embedded in a ProdOps team that operates as a force multiplier across the product org - which means your work will touch every product line we build. If you're energized by structure, driven by outcomes, and genuinely curious about how AI can make delivery smarter and faster, we'd love to hear from you.
Compensation This position offers between $90,000-$100,000 based on experience and skill set.
Primary Responsibilities & Expectations
  • Own end-to-end project delivery. Plan, track, and drive software delivery projects from kickoff through release. Manage scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks across multiple concurrent initiatives without losing the thread on any of them.
  • Run effective program-level meetings. Facilitate cross-functional syncs, steering reviews, and initiative-level working sessions. Keep meetings purposeful and decision-ready - not just status updates.
  • Maintain delivery visibility. Build and maintain clear, up-to-date project plans, roadmaps, and status artifacts that give leadership and stakeholders an accurate picture of what's in flight, what's at risk, and what's done.
  • Remove blockers proactively. Identify impediments before they become delays. Escalate with context, not just noise, and follow through until the blocker is resolved.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment. Partner with Product, Engineering, QA, Design, and business stakeholders to keep priorities clear and handoffs clean. You'll regularly facilitate conversations that require aligning people with different incentives and vocabularies.
  • Support program-level reporting. Contribute to quarterly delivery reports, OKR tracking, and capacity planning. Translate project status into executive-ready communication.
  • Document and systematize. Build the institutional knowledge that makes the team faster over time - process documentation, retrospective learnings, project templates, and delivery playbooks.
  • Lean into AI. We expect this role to use AI tools actively, both for your own productivity (drafting, summarizing, status synthesis, meeting prep) and for finding opportunities to apply AI-assisted workflows across the delivery process. You don't need to be an AI engineer - but you should be genuinely curious about where AI can improve outcomes and willing to experiment.
  • Access to a private & secure workspace, free from distractions
  • Accessible during the assigned work schedule for regular duties and responsibilities as outlined by the supervisor
  • An internet connection with speeds of 5 Megabits down / 3 Megabits up (5mbps/3mbps)
Skills and Qualifications
  • 4-7 years of project management experience, with meaningful time spent managing software delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to run multiple complex projects simultaneously across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of Kanban; experience with other delivery frameworks is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication - you can write a crisp status update and hold a room through a program review equally well.
  • Proficiency with modern project management tooling; experience with Notion, ClickUp, or Linear is strongly preferred.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and iterating your approach as priorities shift.
  • Strong judgment about when to flex and when to hold the line on scope and schedule.
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or marketing technology - you understand the landscape our customers operate in.
  • A genuine orientation toward innovation: you think about how processes, tools, and delivery models can scale, and you actively look for opportunities to do things better, not just faster.
  • AI fluency. You use AI tools as a core part of how you work - not occasionally, but daily. You prompt effectively, evaluate output critically, and think about how AI can drive scale and innovation across delivery workflows. You should be able to articulate where AI creates leverage in program management, and you should already be doing it. This is a practitioner bar, not a builder bar - you don't need to write code or configure models, but you need to be ahead of the curve, not catching up to it.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a software product company; you understand how the product side thinks and how to partner with it effectively.

At FMG, we believe in the wholehearted acceptance of each other regardless of our differences. We strive to foster an environment that allows everyone to contribute to our mission in their unique ways. With the belief that diversity propels innovation, we are continually finding ways to cultivate a commitment to inclusion in our employees, services, and products, as well as in the communities in which we live and work.
We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to providing employment opportunities regardless of sex, race, creed, color, gender, religion, marital status, domestic partner status, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, pregnancy, military or veteran status, and genetic information.
