Salary: $62,500 per year
Schedule: Flexible, Sunday-Saturday, typically 9 AM – 5 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Residential Program Manager to join our collaborative and dynamic team within our Independent Living Program serving the Greater Danbury area. 
This role supports individuals with people with disabilities who live independently in the community with varying levels of need. The Residential Program Manager plays a key role in ensuring these supports are effectively aligned, person-centered, and responsive. 
The ideal candidate will be a strong, team-oriented leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to empowering individuals to maintain independence while ensuring their evolving needs are met through coordinated, high-quality services. 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to direct support staff, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services
  • Oversee operations of independent living programs, ensuring safety, stability, and well-being of individuals served
  • Coordinate services for individuals with varying needs.
  • Serve as primary contact for families, guardians, vendors, and community stakeholders
  • Address concerns proactively and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements
  • Manage staff scheduling to align with individual service needs
  • Participate in audits and quality assurance activities
  • Advocate for individuals, promoting independence and access to appropriate supports
Qualifications:  
  • Associate’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Experience in human services, with a background in direct care preferred; assistant manager experience a plus
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of a varied schedule and commitment to DDS Developmental Disability Services
