Job description

WHAT WE'RE DOING
The Army/Airforce Market Segment is in need of an associate manager subcontract program management to to support key focus areas in the Army and Air Force Market Segment. Primary responsibilities will include oversight of emerging obsolescence and diminishing manufacturing sources and material management (DMSMS) issues within the Sikorsky supply chain organization; supplier development and execution scope within legacy AAFS platforms, and general supply chain and sourcing strategies. This role will report into S-70 Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) team and support other areas within the market segment including UH-60M, HH-60M, HH-60W, S-70I and S-70M when needed.
THE WORK
Primary responsibilities include overseeing subcontractors or critical subcontracted systems for all program specific supplier Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Management (DMSMS) and Engineering development contract types and programs.
Directs and manages all costs, quality, schedule, financial and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and is required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system.
Develops sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs and execution.
Acts as the main focal point to the subcontractor, engineering team, and program management office.
Responsible for and directs all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions through requests for proposals, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, and program execution.
Makes decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor.
Establishes milestone objectives and manages performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications.
