About this opportunity:

We are hiring an Associate Merchant to join our Merchandising team. As an Associate Merchant, you'll support the Merchandise team in the curation of a product assortment that represents the tenets of our brand while increasing sales and achieving profit goals. As an Associate Merchant, you will report to the Senior Merchant for your assigned category.
The role of the Associate Merchant is to support the Senior Merchant in all aspects of product procurement, launch, and maintenance.

What you'll do:

  • You will work under the management of the Senior Merchant, operating independently.

  • Manage vendor relationships acting as a primary contact for vendors and designers

  • Proof catalog, web, and ads for discrepancies in costing, dimensions

  • Organize communication between Vendor and Product Support team to resolve client concerns, gather product information, and procure supporting materials

  • Work with multiple teams

  • Source new products and handle strategic product reviews.

  • Run sales analysis and participate in sales meetings.


Job Requirements

  • A passion for modern design

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Project management skills.

  • Computer proficiency: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Detail oriented

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Preferred 3+ years of experience in merchandising or planning within design or related industry
