Sompo has a unique opportunity for an Associate HR Technology Analyst in our Human Resources team.
The Associate HR Technology Analyst will be the face of HRIS; troubleshooting and providing frontline support across Workday modules such as HCM, Benefits, Payroll, and more. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, delivering exceptional customer service, resolving tier-1 system issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR systems, particularly Workday. You will partner with other HRIS team members to participate in innovative HR systems projects and perform new feature system testing to ensure solutions deliver meaningful experiences for our global stakeholders. This is a dynamic role will provide exposure to multiple Workday HCM suite modules and project lifestyle processes, providing valuable learning opportunities.

What you'll be doing:
  • Ticket Management: Serve as the first tier for incoming HRIS inquiries, addressing and resolving day-to-day system questions across Workday modules (HCM, Benefits, Payroll, etc.).
  • Testing and Auditing: Perform regular system audits and act as the primary tester for new Workday releases and features.
  • Training and Support: Assist in providing end-user training and support to ensure optimal system utilization.
  • Customer Service: Deliver top-tier customer service by proactively addressing system issues and escalating complex cases to tier 2 or 3 as needed.
  • Reporting: Gather report requirements from end-users and collaborate with analysts for report development.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of processes, system changes, and resolutions.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects; bringing your end-user knowledge to help develop and implement new functionality.
  • What you'll bring:
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR, HRIS, or a related field, providing foundational knowledge of HR functional areas, such as Recruiting, Benefits, Payroll, and Total Rewards.
  • Some hands-on experience with Workday and/or a general understanding of HR processes and systems
  • Experience with ticketing systems in a professional environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and comfort working in Excel or similar tools along with strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • A team-oriented mindset with exceptional customer service and communication skills with a passion for problem-solving.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000. Actual compensation for this role will depend on several factors including the cost of living associated with your work location, your qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
