Job description

Monday - Friday; 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (must be flexible with hours)
What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Communicate and track status of all required training and onboarding activities for site.
  • Work with leadership to proactively identify training needs and map out development plans.
  • Remain current on company and site training requirements and communicate updates to leadership.
  • Assist in the planning, organizing and implementation of training courses and materials.
  • Coordinate timely submissions of KPIs and Metrics reporting for site and Corporate.
  • Responsible for ordering MRO materials and office supplies.
  • Responsible for event planning; duties include booking, food, entertainment, staffing and cleanup of events.
  • Provides administrative support, fielding general phone calls, receiving and directing visitors, document control, and asset management, etc.

What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Suite Applications (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Proven ability to successfully prioritize ever-changing needs and provide accurate updates on issues and status; ability to multitask with an innate ability for follow-up and follow-through on all tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management (written and verbal)

It would be great if you also have:
  • 3 years of experience working as a Training Coordinator or in administrative role
  • Degree in training, human resources, education or related field
  • Work experience as a trainer in a corporate environment
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a distribution or manufacturing environment
