Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The UNC Adams School of Dentistry Division of Craniofacial and Surgical Care provides a diverse approach to treatment for patients with craniofacial or oral and maxillofacial conditions, including those with multiple or complex oral health problems. The Orthodontics discipline focuses on the treatment of irregularities of the teeth, jaws, and bite relationship in children and adults.
Position Summary
The Administrative Support Associate is primarily responsible for Orthodontic Graduate clinic by scheduling, updating appointments, creating files for new patients and receive payments. This position is the first point of contact for clients and patients either by phone or in person. The position will also provide back-up support to the financial-/patient coordinator as needed.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Management Preferences
Experience with working in a clinical environment is preferred.
