Position Summary

Core Housekeeping Responsibilities
Unlike heavy-duty cleaners, a light duty housekeeper focuses strictly on routine surface tidying and daily maintenance to ensure resident safety and comfort.
  • Surface Care: Dusting furniture, wiping countertops, and sanitizing high-touch areas like doorknobs and handrails.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweeping, light mopping, and vacuuming rugs or carpets in immediate resident spaces.
  • Waste Disposal: Emptying trash receptacles, replacing liners, and removing recycling from resident rooms.
  • Restocking: Keeping bathrooms and common areas supplied with toilet paper, tissues, and paper towels.

Core Dietary Aide Responsibilities
In the dietary department, this role operates under a food service manager or chef to ensure residents receive the correct nutrition in a hygienic setting. Duties may include:
  • Meal Prep Assistance: Washing produce, chopping ingredients, portioning desserts, and pouring beverages.
