Job description

Assisted Living Culinary Assistant

Part Time | Evenings | 3:30pm - 7:30pm

Pay: $12.50 - $14.30/hr (Based on experience)

What You'll Do as an Assisted Living Culinary Assistant:

  • Dining room service, including serving residents, carrying residents' trays and delivering/picking up trays from nursing carts.
  • Performing tasks on a cleaning schedule, including trash disposal, dishwashing, and sweeping & mopping floors.
  • Performing a variety of tasks in the kitchen, including prep work, ensuring proper food storage by labelling & dating food items, operating kitchen equipment, handling chemicals and cleaning equipment, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements for an Assisted Living Culinary Assistant:

  • At least 16 years of age (work permit required for employees under the age of 18)
  • Customer Service skills preferred
  • Prior food service experience preferred but not required
