Nourishing Success in Every Bite
Imagine walking into a clinic nestled in a vibrant town south of Indianapolis-somewhere where every family is known by name, and fresh farm finds line the markets on the weekend. As a Clinical Dietitian, your day might begin with a patient recovering from surgery, guiding them through a custom diet plan, then shift to mentoring a student during a hands-on nutrition session. Between consultations, you're exploring new strategies to improve nutrition workflows or training nursing staff on advanced therapeutic feeding protocols.
Why This Role Feels Like Home
What makes this position special isn't just the clinical depth-it's the heart behind it. You'll work alongside caring professionals who believe good nutrition is key to improved outcomes. You'll be invited into patient homes via telehealth check-ins, or connected through pharmacist-led medication reviews. It's a role rooted in trust, where your expertise shapes healing journeys and elevates wellness across the community. You'll join meetings, lead initiatives, and treat each interaction as part of a bigger story-one centered on health, inclusion, and hope.
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking a dietitian who thrives on meaningful connections. Someone who sees food not just as fuel but as medicine-who understands that a well-crafted meal plan can uplift moods, support recovery, and empower self-care. You're a mentor at heart, excited to invest in students and future professionals. Adaptable, community-minded, and collaborative: you see challenges as opportunities to innovate.
Join a Mission That Matters
If you're ready to translate nutritional science into everyday wellness, connect deeply with patients, and guide a community toward healthier living, this is where you belong.
Embracing the Spirit of Southern Indiana
Picture a town where historic courthouse steps frame morning light, and fragrant fields stretch toward the horizon-where sidewalk cafés hum with conversation as neighbors gather over locally grown produce and homemade pastries. Here, small-town life thrives on community connection and the richness of agricultural roots. You'll find craft breweries featuring locally sourced grains, weekend farmers' markets offering heirloom beans and heirloom tomatoes, and lively public art reflecting the region's pride.
The surrounding heartland is a tapestry of rolling cornfields and grazing livestock, interspersed with gently winding rivers perfect for late afternoon paddling or mindful reflection. Trails and parks invite fitness-minded families and clinical professionals alike to recharge outdoors, fresh off a morning shift. Historic architecture blends with modern clinics, reflecting a community that values both tradition and progress.
Local schools gather for Friday-night lights and community plays, and you'll have opportunities to lead student nutrition programs or speak at wellness fairs. Clinics partner with nearby food banks, giving clinicians like you a chance to volunteer, teach, and make nutrition accessible to every family.
The area benefits from its proximity to Indianapolis-just a short drive away-so you can enjoy big-city cultural events and world-class dining while returning to the soothing rhythm of small-town life. This blend of accessibility and authenticity supports professionals who crave both career opportunity and community cohesion.
