Job description

Job Summary:
Perform work on campus grounds including operating lawn mowers, hedge trimmers and other power and hands tools. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work with minimal supervision. May work with full time employees performing grounds related duties including event and conference set ups. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to become certified to drive University vehicles. Individuals may be required to work some weekends, holidays and mandatory days.
Experience and Qualifications:
Must maintain a high level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion. Maintain acceptable work habits, punctuality and regularity of attendance to arrive and leave work on time and observe established break times and lunch periods.
Ability to effectively communicate and follow oral instructions in English. Ability to effectively read written instructions, signs and products in English.
Adhere to University protocol relating to safety procedures.
Adhere to the policies and procedures established by Franklin Pierce University.
